Compulsion Games, creators of Contrast, have showcased their newest piece of genius at E3. We Happy Few sets you into the not-so-normal alternative world of 1960’s England where things aren’t quite what they seem.

The entire town of Wellington Wells is completely off their nut on a permanent basis and don’t take kindly to anyone else that doesn’t follow suit with the ‘Joy’ drug. Joy was created as a happiness drug to allow the residents to hide from something terrible that they’ve committed in the past. As a Downer, you’ll need to avoid suspicion and blend in, all the while looking for a way to escape from rest of the loonies.

We Happy Few will release on Windows, Mac, Linux and Xbox One but the complete release date is still in it’s TBC state. However, you can apply for early access on Steam here from the 27th July.
