The highly anticipated horror game, Allison Road seems to be back in production after its cancellation earlier this Summer.

The game is a spiritual successor to Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro’s terrifying demo, P.T. P.T was a huge success a couple of years back and fans of the horror genre would loved to have seen the title resurrected by Konami, but it seems they don’t have to beg Konami anymore, as the equally terrifying Allison Road is back in production.

In an interview with IGN , developer Christian Kelser said that:

“it did take a bit of soul searching to find the drive again to work on Allison Road and to simply make a call on what to do next. After the setback, I took a bit of a break from working on it and re-evaluated all the work that had been done so far—the whole journey, so to speak. I started making a few (in my opinion) necessary changes to the story and the flow, little bits and pieces here and there, and before I knew it, it sort of naturally came back to life.”

Allison Road has no current release window, but horror fans should be excited nonetheless that the project is back in production.
