Am I the King? because we get the King’s Brand in today’s episode. This will be a full blind playthrough of this metroidvania classic. Our first stop is to complete our search of the Kingdom’s Edge because we didn’t quite get to finish it last time. At the very peak of the Kingdom’s Edge we find Bardoon who isn’t really of much help. With a bit of luck we manage to destroy a breakable wall and find the Kingdom’s Edge hidden bench which is perfect timing because it’s very close to a tough boss… Hornet. Yet again we are having trouble with a boss so I head off to the Nailsmith to get my nail upgraded again. With my new upgraded weapon, things are a little easier and we manage to kill Hornet. Defeating her earns us the King’s Brand which we can use to open the king’s door in the Ancient Basin. Down in the Ancient Basin, we pick up a new ability, Shade Cloak, that allows us to dash through enemies without getting hurt.
