CHASING WOMEN AT NIGHT – Shenmue 2 | Part 9

Welcome to a FULL playthrough of Sega’s greatest fracnhise and indeed possibly the best game ever made, a timeless classic from the Dreamcast, Shenmue 2.

First stop today is back to Yang’s Herb Shop because he set us up and sent Dou Niu after us. Yang tells us he was threatened by Dou Niu into helping him but that we might be able to get more info from Huang, the wiretapper.

At Huang’s apartment in the Tea Break Building we find some tapes from his wiretapping and take them back to Ren’s hideout to listen to.

The only clue from the tape is we hear Yuan with a talking bird and a ringing bell. On the way back into town a blind street musician lets us know that there’s the sound of a ringing bell in the Moon Child Building. A bit of investigation leads us to asking around at bird shops and ultimately the rooftop of the Three Birds Building where Yuan buys her bird food from.

We finally stalk Yuan all the way home then we break into her apartment and end up locking Dou Niu in the closet before rescuing Zhang and getting him back to Ren’s Hideout.

Zhang tells us that Yuanda is in the Ghost Hall Building but we’ll have to go and investigate that next time
