It’s time to have a look in dad’s secret basement and see what he’s been hiding in this next instalment of the best Sega game ever!!

Welcome to a FULL playthrough of Sega’s greatest game and indeed possibly the best game ever made, a timeless classic from the Dreamcast, Shenmue.

Last time we found out from Master Chen that there’s a second mirror, the Phoenix mirror, to go alongside the Dragon mirror that Lan Di stole. He suspects our father might have had both so we need to head back home and try to find it.

We finally get to use the mysterious key we found in our dad’s bedroom so long ago to open a sword case in the family dojo. There are 2 scrolls in the dojo concealing indentations in the wall, one of which we insert the sword into.

After that, a chat with Fuku-San and Ine-San lead us to Bunkado Antiques where our father put something into storage for when we turned 18, a sword handguard.

On the way home we bump into Guizhang and after a short fight we find out Master Chen has asked him to act as our bodyguard… what Ryo doesn’t see is that they’re being spied on from the rooftops.

Inserting the sword handguard into the slot in the dojo reveals our dad’s secret basement which has a new move scroll called Stab Armor and most importantly, the Phoenix Mirror.
