DOUBLE BEAST BATTLE – Chrono Trigger – Blind Playthrough – Part 17

So is Chrono Trigger the best game of all time? That’s what I keep hearing from people but I’ve never played it before so we’re gonna go on a journey and find out together how great this game really is.

Last time we picked a new mode of transport, the Wings of Time, Epoch. Now we have the option to take on Lavos, the end of game boss, in 1999 but we’ll save him for later

First thing on the list today is to use our powered up pendant to charge up the locked chests in 600 AD then visit them in 1000 AD to collect the charged up goodies.

Once we’ve collected all that, it’s off to 12000 BC to visit the village of the earthbound ones. We learn that one of the gurus has been banished to the Mountain of Woe and we must fight our way through the Beast’s Nest to get there. To climb the chain to the mountain we must fight a Blue Beast, a Red Beast and a Mud Imp.

We finish off with a little look around the Mountain of Woe but don’t get to finish it
