It’s Dream Nail time in this latest episode of Hollow Knight! This will be a full blind playthrough of this metroidvania classic. Our first task today is to head all the way back to the Deepnest and collect our geos… which doesn’t quite go to plan, and then ends up with me falling down a huge pit in Deepnest. Further into the Deepnest I spend 50 minutes going through the hardest part of the game so far, all just to get a mask shard! We find Zoto along the way but are unable to help him so we proceed into the Failed Tramway and find a Tram Pass that gives us unlimited access to the trams. Later on we meet the Moss Prophet, head back to the Caterpillar who rewards us for saving his children, visit the Black Egg Temple but there’s nothing to do and then head off to the tram station in the Forgotten Crossroads.

The tram takes us to a strange land where we find the 3 dreamers. There we find a butterfly who gives us a new weapon called the Dream Nail and then we wake up next to the Seer who asks us to collect 100 Essence to repair our new weapon. After we ride the stag back to Dirtmouth we buy a small key from Sly the Fly and use it to open the locked door at the end of Dirtmouth. Inside we meet Jiji who doesn’t help us at all!!
