Oddworld: Soulstorm is an upcoming re-imagining of the 1998 title Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus, featuring a newly written story that is loosely based on the original game.

The whole game so far has been shrouded in mystery, with the developer of the game, “Oddworld Inhabitants”, leaving cryptic audio samples and distorted pictures around the internet for people to find, and now they have released the first picture of the game.  The picture is of a newly re-designed Abe (possibly).

So now all we have is a picture, that’s it. I guess that’s at least more than nothing.  A whole picture more.

However, we do know that Soulstorm will serve as a direct sequel to Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty and is currently slated for a late 2017 release.
