I’M A BIT DEAD! – Chrono Trigger – Blind Playthrough – Part 20

So is Chrono Trigger the best game of all time? That’s what I keep hearing from people but I’ve never played it before so we’re gonna go on a journey and find out together how great this game really is.

Last time we delved deeper into the Ocean Palace and had to kill Dalton’s Twin Golems to reach Queen Zeal’s ceremony. As we interrupt the ceremony just as Lavos is awakened, the Queen’s prophet shows himself to be Magus and has planned all this time to defeat Lavos.

Sadly he is overpowered and Crono seems to have been absorbed by Lavos. Is Crono dead? I don’t know but for now the new crew is Marle, Frog and Ayla. We wake up in the earthbound village and head off to The Commons only to find out that in this new time period Dalton is in charge and puts us into prison.

In prison we’ve lost all of our money, items and weapons so we must sneak around trying to get our equipment back. Once we get all our stuff back we head out on deck of the Blackbird, fight the Golem Boss and fight fight Dalton AGAIN to get our Epoch back!
