So yeah, remember Paladins, that blatant clone of Blizzard’s Overwatch that has been the foundation of comedic piss-takery on the internet for a while now? 
It has been called the “Poor man’s Overwatch”, as it is free-to-play, which has made it huge in the gaming community.  I’ve actually tried it myself and it plays almost exactly like the blueprint game.

But regardless of how much hate it has been getting, or how no one can argue that this is a copy of Overwatch, HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT ALERT, it’s coming to mother fudging consoles already.

Yes, that’s right.  Sony have greenlit Hi-Rez’s FPS/MOBA Hero Shooter hybrid for the PS4 platform, and you can sign up for the Closed Beta right now: https://www.paladins.com/ps4-beta-signup/

This is huge for the gaming world as this means that potentially even more games that are just copies of AAA games, could be picked up by PlayStation or Xbox and “sold” (I use air quotes as this is still a Free-to-Play game) as a legitimate product.

HOLY SHIT!

Hopefully this means that the developers will be able to add more original characters and gameplay elements to Paladins (because if I’m being honest, obvious clones aside, it’s still quite a fun game), and it would be cool to see more draws to this game.
