TAKING MAGUS DOWN – Chrono Trigger – Blind Playthrough – Part 13

So is Chrono Trigger the best game of all time? That’s what I keep hearing from people but I’ve never played it before so we’re gonna go on a journey and find out together how great this game really is.

At the end of the last episode we killed the 3rd and final one of Magus’s generals and now I think it’s time to take on Magus himself.

We proceed through the castle and interrupt some kind of ritual to face by far the hardest boss battle of the game so far against Magus. It took a little while but I figured out a solid magus strategy to get the job done which we think unleashes Lavos on the world!

I don’t quite know what’s happened but we appear back in 65million BC with Ayla. When we wake up the next morning Ayla is missing, we find her in the Laruba Ruins and we must follow her to the Dactyl’s Lair, but that’s a job for next time…
