In a report from GiantBomb yesterday, it was revealed that the working title of the rumored PS4.5 is NEO. As the working title Morpheus belonged to the PSVR, it is becoming obvious that the first piece of hardware to drop will be excellent with subsequent pieces of hardware being lackluster, just like The Matrix franchise the names are being taken from

The NEO will feature upgraded specs from its older PS4 counterpart, as well as the ability to output in 4K resolution. Future games will have the ability to run on both consoles, and neither consoles will  receive exclusive games.
