Best Voice Acting Performances in Gaming
Troy Baker – The Joker, Arkham Series
Our first spot on the list goes to Troy Baker, the man who is in everything. Troy’s performance as The Joker is what earns him a spot in this list though. His performance was able to portray real insanity in that traditional Joker manner. How unfortunate he lost the role to that bastard Mark Hamill.
Troy Baker – Joel, The Last Of Us
Wow, Troy Baker really is talented. In The Last Of Us, Baker plays Joel, a rogue ex-cop, I mean contactor, mourning the loss of his wife, I mean daughter, by abducting, I mean escorting, a little girl across the country. In this performance he is able to convey the bitterness of a man who has lost his daughter and the open heartedness of somebody ready to move on.
Troy Baker – Delsin Rowe, Infamous Second Sun
No way you saw this one coming! Supreme Leader Troy plays the loveable rascal with shit fashion sense in this wacky adventure. It’s absolutely crazy how well Baker is able play a whiny little git, especially considering how great he is. Man I wish I was him…
Troy Baker- Booker DeWitt, Bioshock Infinite
In this game Booker DeWitt, played by Troy Baker(<3), must save Elizabeth in one of the most confusing storylines ever created. Man I wish Troy would rescue me from my tower protected by a giant Steam Punk bird.
Runner up, Troy Baker- Pagan Min
Wait what? Runner up? But Pagan Min is easily one of the best villains in gaming history, who could possibly beat him?
Nolan North – Nathan Drake, Uncharted Franchise
Usurper! Betrayer! HOW DARE YOU? You are nothing compared to my the king of gaming. He is the poster child of all that is holy. How dare you take his rightful place.
I sure am excited for Uncharted 4 though, I hear Troy Baker is in it.
