Have games for you been a little bit stale lately? Trying to find an excuse to avoid the in laws? Just want to kick back, relax, and play some kick ass video games? Well here are some awesome titles out right now:

Halo 5 Guardians

I wasn’t a fan of Halo 4. It was too much of a Call Of Duty rip off. However, Halo 5 felt like the perfect balance of classical Halo with modern elements. You can dash and dodge around while mounting the classic Halo style you fell in love with. A style where you and 3 friends dick around in a warthog for 2 hours before passing out due to the accompanying binge drinking.

The Witcher 3

The Witcher 3 is a stellar game. While you’ll encounter the occasional glitch and lag on consoles, you’ll be completely invested in not only its story but fucking everything that moves and is vaguely female. Seriously, Geralt of Rivia might as well known as Ser Thundercock of Vaginatown

Quantum Break

Quantum Break is a lovely game. It’s got an amazing narrative with stellar combat mechanics. It also comes packed with a TV show, which may feel gimmicky at first, but quickly shows how great of a TV show is. This game has actually broken some new ground, something that is becoming increasingly rare in this medium. Also, Littlefinger is in it so I’m guessing he dies in the next season of Game of Thrones.

The Order 1886

Hahahahahhaahahhahahaha sike.

Ratchet and Clank

While I’ve yet to play the remake of this early 2000’s title, the reviews have been glowing. Not only does it iterate and improve on the original, it has received a complete graphical overhaul. It’s the sort of game that both adults and children can enjoy due to the humour. Not only that, it has a lower price tag than other Triple-A games out there, leaving you with leftover money for condoms you’ll keep on your drawer long past their expiration date.

Just Cause 3

Just Cause 3 isn’t a game you should play if you don’t have an imagination. While the process of acquiring upgrades can get old, the fun you’ll have with them won’t. Every time you strap an old lady to a rocket powered moped will be just as hilarious as the first. Plus, there’s a wingsuit and those are always fun.
